Terms and conditions for posting comments on the Parents’ Pages e-bulletin and e-zine. 

The Communications Team from Surrey Early Years and Childcare Service (part of Surrey County Council) publish and moderate the Parents’ Pages e-bulletin and e-zine. By subscribing to Parents’ Pages e-bulletin and e-zine you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please note, we are not responsible for, nor do we endorse, the content of the comments posted including the accuracy, completeness or usefulness. 

The comments express the views of the author of the comment and are not necessarily the views of Surrey County Council. Your comments must not contain any information, which you know to be false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, inappropriate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or in any other way breaks any law. 

You must not share personal information about others. And you must not post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright. 

You must not promote your own products or services and we do not accept payment for promotions. 

If you include the name of a Surrey County Council staff member we will replace it with an asterisk (*) or a job title, except in special circumstances and at our discretion. 

If you wish to make a comment, compliment or complaint about an individual member of Surrey County Council staff, go to the comments, compliments and complaints link in the contact us tab on the Surrey County Council website. 

We aim to publish all comments that meet these terms and conditions within five working days. If you post a comment that does not meet with these terms and conditions it will not appear on the Parents’ Pages e-bulletin or e-zine. 

We reserve the right to modify or alter these terms and conditions at any time.
